This calculator provides the result for bending moment and shear force at a distance "x" from the left support of a simply supported beam subjected to point load. It also calculates support reactions and maximum bending moment. In this case the maximum bending moment value is obtained at the position of point load. This calculator gives shear force values on both sides (left and right) of the section. Typical diagrams for Shear Force and Bending Moment are also shown.
