This calculator is for finding Fixed-End Moment (FEM), support reactions, bending moment and shear force at a section of fixed-ended beam subjected to point load at a point on span. It also determines the maximum values of positive and negative bending moments, as well as the points of contra-flexure. Take all the distances with reference to left support at point A. Downward forces are taken as negative and upward as positive. FEM at left support is negative if it causes hogging whereas FEM on the right support is positive if it causes hogging. The span moments are positve if sagging and negative if hogging.

This calculator can also be used to find the ordinates of influence line diagram for structures just by taking P equal to 1.
