This calculator is useful to determine the area and perimeter of a four sided closed plygon when its coordinates Northing (Y coordinate) and Easting (X coordinate) are given. Please make sure that the polygon is a convex polygon. All the points (A, B, C, D) are taken in a cyclic order. The area is calculated by the following formula

Area = 0.5 x Absolute value of ((X1Y2 – Y1X2) + (X2Y3 – Y2X3) + (X3Y4 – Y3X4) (X4Y1 – Y4X1))
